Featured Alumnae
Nancy Twine (McIntire '07), Founder and CEO, Briogeo Hair Care
Not many people would consider taking the leap of faith from a high-paying Wall Street career into the risk-laden world of a clean beauty entrepreneur, but Nancy Twine, "green beauty expert" and Founder and CEO of Briogeo Hair Care, did just that, and quickly discovered her true calling. Relying on her traditional, modest roots and deep-seated passion for clean beauty, Nancy vacated her position as Vice President of Commodities Sales at Goldman Sachs in 2014 to follow her dream of becoming a clean beauty entrepreneur. Just five years after launching, Briogeo is now the fastest-growing haircare line at Sephora and has expanded its offering to include wellness products as part of its new B. Well collection. Briogeo has also broadened its presence beyond North America, with recent launches with Sephora in the Middle East, South East Asia, Australia, and Europe. Considered a leading authority on "green beauty," Nancy is often sought out by high-profile women’s and beauty trade publications and has been profiled in Forbes, Women’s Wear Daily, Beauty Inc., The New York Post, Marie Claire, and Essence, and earned a coveted spot as one of Glamour’s 35 Under 35.

Allie Egan (McIntire '08), President and CEO, Cynthia Rowley
Allie Egan is the President and CEO of Cynthia Rowley, where she oversees e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketing, finance, and operations. She began her career in finance and consumer retail investing at L Catterton and went on to gain years of experience across luxury e-commerce, sales, brand, digital, and retail marketing at Estee Lauder, where she worked on iconic brands such as La Mer, Clinique, and Origins. Allie made the move from consumer retail investing to follow her real passion of helping to grow amazing brands from a marketing and operations perspective. Cynthia Rowley was the perfect match, a legendary creative in Cynthia and Allie’s knowledgeable, entrepreneurial business mindset to help revitalize the brand’s potential in the new landscape of digital and direct to consumer. Allie holds a B.S. in Finance and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School. She also serves on the board of Project Renewal and is an avid marathoner, traveler, and dog mom to a small Boston Terrier.

The McIntire Ivy Society is dedicated to promoting professional development, networking, mentoring, and philanthropy among our incredible alumnae. McIntire women around the world organize a variety of experiences such as power breakfasts and dinners, panel discussions, guest speakers, career workshops, networking events, and the occasional happy hour to bring women together and strengthen McIntire's alumnae community. In 2019, we are thrilled to pilot a McIntire Women's Webinar series with quarterly webinars to better engage McIntire alumnae worldwide.
