Social Entrepreneurship & Design Thinking Workshop: Empathy-Based Discovery & Human-Centered Design

8:30 AM

Rouss & Robertson Halls, Room 410

Using a human-centered design framework under the umbrella of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), this dynamic workshop will help participants to articulate a complex problem statement and use empathy-based discovery to understand potential markets or social contexts. The workshop will be delivered using an experiential learning methodology, in which participants will work interactively in groups with a set of international cases (themed to align with UN SDGs) to build a project using these approaches for discovery and design thinking.

EITHER 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. OR 1-5 p.m. (Choose one of these two 4-hour workshops using the RSVP link.)

RSVP here to reserve your seat. SPACE IS LIMITED to allow for interactive sessions, and you will receive a confirmation of your seat the week prior to this workshop. Lunch will be provided with your workshop session.

Co-sponsored by the Youth & Social Innovation program (Curry School of Education), Galant Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Center for Global Commerce (McIntire School of Commerce)
