Why did you choose McIntire? I chose McIntire because the program is challenging. I realized that the program will not only improve my technical accounting skills, but also my professional skills, which will open a door for new opportunities and help me grow as a professional, and as an individual within a community.

What do you enjoy so far? The faculty and staff at McIntire are very supportive; they provide us with the moral and academic support to complete the program. Not only do they allow us to ask questions related to the academic issues, but they also help us in personal and individual issues we might face.

What has surprised you? I expected McIntire to be like other schools, where professors lecture and allow students to visit only during office hours. I was surprised to find out that I can visit my professors in their offices whenever I have something to ask, and in return they are very welcoming and helpful. It makes us feel integrated and part of a bigger family, not just an academic program. The School trusts us with its student honor code, which means we are treated professionally and with respect and trust.

Fun facts about yourself: I enjoy walking and video gaming to relax! I speak English, Arabic, and French.

Hobbies: Playing basketball, using new computer software, hanging out with friends, food, and traveling (I have visited most of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.)
