Why did you choose McIntire? I chose McIntire because of its reputation and program coursework. The main goal of the program is to prepare students for their careers by focusing on communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism. In addition to developing us to be young professionals, it also offers courses designed to help us with material on the CPA exam.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? The diversity of the program is truly amazing. There are students from all over the world. It's great to be a part of a program that highly values the importance of building relationships with people from different backgrounds. Also, my professors and classmates are all so nice and always willing to help with anything from accounting questions to restaurant suggestions in Charlottesville.
Fun facts about me: I played soccer at Wofford and was the captain of the team my senior year. Another fun fact is that I am a triplet and got to play against my sister all four years of college.
Hobbies: Anything and everything active (I love to play soccer and tennis. I enjoy hiking in the deserts of Arizona or in the mountains of Virginia.)
