Why did you choose McIntire? McIntire is well-known for its strong academic coursework, close-knit community, and great faculty-student relationships. McIntire offers classes not only focusing on technical skills, but also on equipping students with soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and business mindset.
What do you enjoy so far? I enjoy the environment, in which faculty know the students very well and try to build relationships with students. I enjoyed the team-building activity in Blue Ridge because we all got the chance to talk to each other outside of classroom.
What has surprised you? I was surprised that there are so many group assignments and activities involved in the classroom and that everybody has a chance to speak up and engage in discussions. I was also surprised by the number of employer-in-residence opportunities at McIntire.
Fun facts about yourself: I ran into two celebrities this summer, and three last summer.
Hobbies: Modern dance and watching plays
