Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I wanted to explore more of what business had to offer and needed a program that could teach me the critical skills that I would need to excel in my future career. I have always been interested in business but didn't know how to get there from engineering until I came across the M.S. in Commerce.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? I really enjoy the collaborative class environment that the program offers. I enjoy the diversity of perspective presented by both the faculty and my classmates. And I definitely enjoy the fact that I am always learning something new in each class.

What has surprised you about the program so far? The interactive structure of the program has surprised me. Every week there is something new. The class schedule is never the same for more than a week or two. I'm also impressed with how the program intensifies the job search and provides a variety of resources to help us.

Fun Fact: The first and last time I tried skateboarding, I ended up sliding into a pool. Luckily, I knew how to swim.

Hobbies: Soccer, FIFA on PS4 (Xbox is never fun), "Game of Thrones" marathons
