Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I chose to pursue a Master's in Commerce because I was searching for the opportunity to apply my liberal arts background to the business world. Studying English as an undergraduate was such a privilege, and I felt that it gave me a unique perspective that I was eager to develop further. While I minored in Entrepreneurship as an undergraduate, I was hungry to learn more about how business works.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? One of my favorite parts about the program is how drastically different each student's background is. Because the program is geared toward liberal arts majors, each student has a different perspective and something different to contribute to our discussions. As a UVA undergrad, I've also loved meeting people from different universities from all over the world.

Fun facts about me: I've never eaten an orange and I love live music!

Hobbies: Working as a server and bartender at Trinity Irish Pub on the Corner (I love the people I’ve met there, and the opportunities it’s given me to learn time management skills and people skills!)
