Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? While I thoroughly enjoyed my undergraduate studies, I knew that I wanted to get more specialized with my graduate degree. The Business Analytics Track seemed to be the perfect way to take my analytical skills from undergrad to the next level, and I am excited to see where my newfound knowledge takes me in the future. This specialization, combined with the M.S. in Commerce’s fantastic reputation, made choosing McIntire a no-brainer.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? I love being in such a diverse class. Each and every student has a unique academic background, and it really shows in class discussions. There is an incredible sense of community among the students and faculty already, and I'm confident that this community will only grow throughout the school year.
Fun facts about me: I'm the middle child of five children. My first two jobs were working at an ice cream store and a chocolate store, so I consider myself an expert on all things sweet. I once got lost (“Home Alone” style) in Hawaii.
Hobbies: Cooking, exploring the Charlottesville food scene, walking my two dogs, photography, painting, and binge-watching “Gilmore Girls”
