Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I heard of the acclaimed M.S. in Commerce Program and knew it would be a great fit, as I needed a business background in order to enter the management side of engineering.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? I love how everyone comes from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. It really adds to the camaraderie experience because everyone is out of their element but we're all in it together.

What has surprised you about the program so far? The pace of the program has surprised me. I knew I was going to be thrown into the coursework right away, but McIntire has challenged me and pushed our limits from the first day we arrived.

Fun Facts:

  • This past summer, I backpacked solo through Europe.
  • I am the youngest of three and the only one not born in the United States.
  • My 2017 goal is to learn how to do a handstand (luckily I still have a few months left...)
  • Peanut butter and ice cream are essentially food groups in my diet.

Hobbies: Running, hiking, exploring new restaurants, going to the farmer's market
