Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I thought the M.S. in Commerce would give me the hard skills that would translate across many industries. I also know that UVA is a name people respect and an institution where I will get a high-quality education.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? So far, I like meeting people with a variety of backgrounds who are all working towards the same educational goals and hearing what they are planning to do after completing the M.S. in Commerce Program. I know someone wants to go into the pharmaceutical industry, someone else who wants to open an art gallery, and many people like me who are still figuring it out!
What has surprised you about the program so far? I have been surprised at how fast-moving the program is. Just a few weeks into the program and already we are prepping for job interviews and the recruiting season. I already feel myself starting to think like a business professional, even though I've never had any previous experience with business classes.
- One of my goals in life is to visit all seven continents, and I've already been to four: North America, South America, Europe, and Africa.
- I was born just a few hundred feet away from McIntire at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
- I have a cat named Nutter Butter.
