Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I chose the M.S. in Commerce Program because the business curriculum is well-rounded and has a built-in Global Immersion Experience, and can be completed in just a year. I also liked that the program was geared toward liberal arts majors like myself.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? I really like the different classes and topics taught in an integrated way. Many of the professors have experience in their field, and the collaborative group work builds solid team skills. I also like that the curriculum is based on real-life examples through case studies.

What has surprised you about the program so far? I've been surprised at the positive amount of interaction with my professors. The comradery of the class is also great, not competitive at all, and I've enjoyed my international classmates. I love hearing their perspective during class discussions.

Fun Fact:

  • I played varsity soccer at the College of William & Mary and Wake Forest University.
  • I worked for a film production company between graduation and the start of this program.
  • I love food and start-ups.

Hobbies: Listening to music, watching movies, sports (I'm a fanatic!), and golf
