Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I chose UVA's M.S. in Commerce because of its reputation as a high-quality program with excellent career services. I also thought the admissions staff was very nice throughout my application process.

I decided to volunteer as a Student Ambassador because I was in touch with an ambassador from the previous class who gave me a lot of useful information and gave me suggestions on how to adapt to this program as an international student. Many students in China are interested in McIntire, but they have a lot of questions. I'm eager to answer any questions they might have!

What do you enjoy about the program so far? I really like the interaction between professors and students. The classes are practical and Commerce Career Services provides timely information and support on the job search process.

What has surprised you about the program so far? There is a lot of emphasis on class participation, which I have found surprising. This is very different from my undergraduate experience in China.
