Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? I have developed a quantitative and analytical foundation during my undergraduate studies, and with University of Virginia’s rigorous academic environment, the M.S. in Commerce Program will help me to build a concrete foundation in finance and allow me to apply my skills in the professional world. Moreover, the work in the M.S. in Commerce Program is more team based and project oriented, which will help me to develop my communication and teamwork skills.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? I value the diversity of the M.S. in Commerce Program. I have learned a lot from my peers, who have different academic and cultural backgrounds. Also, the professors are all so approachable and knowledgeable.

Fun facts about me: I have been to all the Disneyland parks and Disney World except the one in Paris. My Chinese name sounds pretty similar to the shampoo brand Pantene. I received Pantene shampoos as birthday gifts for two consecutive years. My spirit animal is a panda.

Hobbies: Piano, guitar, K-pop
