Why did you choose UVA’s M.S. in Commerce Program? When I interned at an investment bank the summer going into my fourth year, I was really interested in the job, but felt I lacked some of the technical skills required for the position. I believe that the M.S. in Commerce Program will get me where I hope to be in order to succeed in that position.

What do you enjoy about the program so far? The professors. Classes are a lot more engaging than they were during undergrad, and I have gotten to establish relationships with all of my professors very quickly.

Fun facts about me: I was born in Wilmington, N.C., and lived there for five years. I studied abroad at the London School of Economics.

Hobbies: Golf, hiking, guitar, watching UVA basketball
