Why did you choose this program? I chose this program because of its international edge. The opportunity to travel to three countries leading in business and to experience their different ways of teaching is probably the most important competitive advantage that this dual-master’s degree will provide me. It will also enable me to become a successful global manager.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? I enjoy cross-cultural integration in practice--it has always been part of my DNA. The ability to continue studying in a highly culturally diverse environment, in which most students have different backgrounds and professional experiences, constitutes an incredible experience on an educational as well as human level.
What has surprised you? What surprised me the most is how close my classmates have already become. In less than three weeks, we have already managed to build strong relationships that, I am sure, will last for years.
Fun facts: My dad is a pilot, and thanks to him, I have flown to most of the world’s continents and have not found a single beer that tastes better than in Belgium, my home country.
Hobbies: Spending time with friends, listening to music, most types of outdoor activities, playing sports, especially football and basketball (My mind has been blown by the UVA facilities. These top-notch facilities allow all students to enjoy themselves, from accomplished student athletes to those who occasionally do sports for relaxation.)
