Why did you choose this program?

I chose this program because of the global component and the practical application throughout the subjects. I did a very theoretical course for undergraduate and was looking for an interesting business perspective, different than most business graduate courses. Also, since the program takes place on three continents in such a short period of time it allowed me to gain interesting and rewarding insights into business across the globe.

What surprised you about the program?

Participation is really encouraged, which is a different style of teaching than I was used to. It really allows you to expand knowledge on topics that otherwise you might not be as involved in.

What was your most memorable study trip?

It’s hard to pinpoint just one, but I really enjoyed the visits in China, maybe because it was so different from anything I had ever experienced. These companies are at the forefront of technology, and it was really interesting to get to know how they are growing within an increasingly globalized world.

What’s the biggest thing you will take from this program into your career and life?

This year really broadened my horizons and taught me to really put thought into how different people contribute in so many ways to my life. The program really had a long lasting impact on me both personally and professionally. I am so grateful for my classmates as well as the faculty and staff. I made friendships that I know will last a very long time.

Fun facts

My favorite (and best!) sport is skiing, and I come from a country that barely has any snow. I attended boarding school, and it was the best experience of my life. I love football (the European kind, which is played with the feet). Did I mention Portugal won Euro 2016?!
