Hometown: Atlanta, GA (USA)
Undergraduate School: University of Georgia
Undergraduate Major: Finance and International Business
Languages: English and French
Why did you choose this program? I chose this program because I wanted to build on my undergrad degree of Finance and International Business to gain even more skills to be relevant in the global business job market. Traveling internationally has always been a passion of mine, and this program was the most exciting and logical next step in pursuing a global career. I also did not have my heart set on continuing a career in finance, so this program helps to diversify my skillset while also adding to what I already learned in undergrad. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that in just 10 short months I will have earned two master’s degrees and a certificate.
What do you enjoy about the program so far? Given that our group of 60 has all of our classes together, I enjoy being able to learn about everyone’s individual stories and where they came from and what brought them here. We are all so different and yet we all share similar goals and passions so that gives us common ground to connect on. I look forward to getting to know everyone even better.
What has surprised you? I was most surprised at just how fast our group has been able to bond and come together as a class. Although we are all culturally very different, we’ve found ways to bridge those gaps both inside and outside the classroom. I know that this camaraderie we have built will only continue to strengthen as the weeks pass and we get even closer through projects and extracurricular activities.
Fun facts: I’m a Harry Potter enthusiast (I went to the theme park twice and have read all the book numerous times). I have studied abroad in France
Hobbies: Hiking, reading, going to movies, and Pilates (Pure Barre)
