McIntire's M.S. in Commerce Program ranks second out of 40 master’s in management (MiM) programs around the world, according to inaugural MiM rankings released May 25 by The Economist. Surpassed in the rankings only by HEC School of Management, Paris, McIntire also is the only U.S. school to appear in the top 10.

Narrowing from dozens of submissions from across Grounds and around the world, the McIntire School’s Galant Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship hosted four finalists April 27 for the 2017 Galant Challenge, a “Shark Tank”-like, real-world investment pitch event.

Neil Ackerman (M.S. in MIT ’09) is Global Director of E-Commerce for $30 billion, 100-year-old snack foods company Mondelez International. Prior to this role, Ackerman was in charge of operation planning for Fulfillment by Amazon at Amazon.com and was the inventor and general manager for Amazon's Small and Light Program, which involved the shipping of items valued at less than $10 for free to customers around the world.
