The McIntire School of Commerce has agreed to partner with ESADE School of Business in Barcelona, Spain, and Lingnan (University) College at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, to deliver a new dual M.S. in Global Commerce and M.S. in Global Strategic Management with a certificate in International Management. The new graduate program is designed for candidates with an undergraduate degree in business with little to no work experience.
The McIntire School's M.S. in Commerce Program was ranked first among one-year, pre-work-experience master’s in management programs by higher education research website Value Colleges.

Seeking to prepare students for success within the high-impact world of entrepreneurship, the McIntire School has teamed up with the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), as well as the Schools of Architecture and Education and the College of Arts & Sciences, to offer a comprehensive new minor in entrepreneurship.
Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s leading global brewer and one of the world’s top five consumer products companies, has joined the outstanding team of corporate partners sponsoring the Integrated Core Experience (ICE), McIntire’s innovative, real-world third-year core curriculum. Representatives of the company commenced their work with students in the fall 2015 semester.
We’re all aware of the ongoing efforts of marketers to gain our attention—and our business. But what do marketers really do? How do they add value to their organizations? More, how should an aspiring marketer go about entering the field, and what might a successful career path in marketing look like? These questions were answered with wisdom, insight, and enthusiasm by some 14 outstanding marketing professionals during McIntire’s inaugural Careers in Marketing Forum, held Oct. 8 and 9, 2015. The forum marked the first such large-scale initiative of McIntire’s new Marketing Advisory Council, which aims to promote marketing career and networking opportunities for McIntire students, as well as to help ensure that the School’s marketing curriculum stays abreast of the relentless evolution of the dynamic field of marketing.
