Melody Koh ’07 has been promoted to Partner at NextView Ventures, a Boston- and New York City-based seed-stage venture capital investment firm focused on tech companies. As reported in Forbes, Koh will continue to work out of the Manhattan office as the first Partner established in that location, where she expects to invest primarily—but not exclusively—in the New York area.

Jill Mitchell (M.S. in Accounting ’03), Associate Professor of Accounting at Northern Virginia Community College’s (NOVA) Annandale campus, has been selected for the 2019 Virginia Outstanding Faculty Awards. The award is the most esteemed honor for faculty at Virginia’s public and private colleges and universities. Mitchell is the only community college faculty winner this year for the state, and the first accounting professor in 25 years to receive the award.
