The annual Federal 100 Awards are presented to government, industry, and academic leaders who have played pivotal roles that affect how the federal government acquires, develops, and manages IT. Michael C. Foroobar ’07 and Kristen E. Dunbar (A&S ’08) » were married May 18, 2013, in Atlanta. The couple resides in Boston, where Mr. Foroobar is an Analyst at Google and Ms. Dunbar is completing an ophthalmology residency at Tufts Medical Center. Several UVA alumni were in the wedding party, including Daniel Ferrari ’07, Matthew Bradley ’07, and Thomas Edmunds ’07.
Alexander Pugatch ’06 and his wife, Elizabeth Dubin Pugatch (A&S ’06), welcomed their first child, a son, Zachary Ethan, born March 5, 2014. The family resides in New York City.
Brad Christmann ’06 recently founded Boldfoot Socks, located in Arlington, Va. The Boldfoot brand was started to help spark a movement and bring apparel manufacturing back to the United States. Boldfoot Socks are 100 percent American-made, and for each pair sold, $1 is donated to a nonprofit that helps U.S. military veterans in need find jobs, housing, improved health, and more.
