McIntire's annual Fall Forum and Spring Symposium have become our signature events. These programs provide McIntire and University students, faculty, alumni, friends, and parents the opportunity to explore important topics across multiple disciplines.
The School also hosts an annual Homecomings tailgate and Reunions luncheon. We hope you will return to Grounds and visit us soon!
The McIntire Ivy Society is dedicated to promoting networking, mentoring, and philanthropy among women students, alumnae, parents, and friends of the McIntire School. The society’s mission is to support women enrolled in McIntire; to create a stronger bond among McIntire alumnae; to provide a setting for meaningful interaction and the sharing of experiences, opportunities, and ideas; and to highlight the importance and impact of women’s philanthropy.
Ivy Society events, which currently take place in Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia, New York, Charlottesville, and Richmond, may be a small dinner or lunch, a reception at an alumna’s home, or a cocktail event, depending on the location and topic.
To host an Ivy Society event or bring the Ivy Society to your area, contact a member of our Development and Alumni Engagement Team.
McIntire Alumni Trustees
The McIntire Alumni Trustee program, established in 2006, is modeled after successful programs at the University's School of Law and Darden School of Business. McIntire Alumni Trustees contact former classmates twice a year, sharing McIntire news and events. Their participation as Alumni Trustees is vital in helping to increase support for the McIntire Annual Fund.
For more information or to become a McIntire Alumni Trustee, please contact Chera Teague, Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Engagement, by e-mail or telephone at +1 434-924-3514.
