Offering one-on-one counseling and interview preparation sessions, a host of informative career preparation events, and up-to-the-minute updates on job opportunities, Commerce Career Services plays a key role in ensuring McIntire students’ success as they enter the job market.

Businesses that recruit through McIntire’s Commerce Career Services find determined, top-caliber students along with exceptional administrative support. Coordinate interviews on site in the heart of UVA’s Grounds with our help, or post a job or internship online directly, and we’ll link you to our broad field of talented, diverse, and eminently hirable students—folks who are among the nation’s best, brightest, most promising professionals in their fields. 

For students, Commerce Career Services is at least part of the reason McIntire students have a 98% job placement after graduation, and a median starting salary of over $69,000 in 2015.​​

Walk-In Hours

Mondays, 2 - 4 p.m.
Tuesdays, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Thursdays, 2 - 4 p.m.
Fridays, 1 - 3 p.m.

During walk-in hours, students come for 15-minute appointments to ask questions and/or resume reviews.

The University of Virginia employs EPay@UVA, a Commerce Manager product hosted by Nelnet Business Solutions, as a means of providing a secure online payment application for departments that provide goods or services; manage events and conferences; or collect billed receivables. EPay@UVA was selected to help assure the security of your data. The system is Payment Card industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 compliant.

We encourage our users to remember that, for your protection, you should consider the security on any device or computer that you are using to process an electronic payment on the internet safely. Be cautious about using public computer terminals.

Cancelation Policy: Event expenses are incurred based on the number of registrants; therefore, NO request for release of obligation or refund will be granted if received by CCS less than 14 days prior to the event. A full refund will be granted if the request for cancelation is received at least 30 days prior to the event, and a refund of 50% will be granted if the cancelation request is received 15-29 days prior to the event.
