
Philip Todd (A&S '15)
Partner, Todd Interests
Philip Todd is a Partner in Dallas-based real estate development and investment firm Todd Interests. Prior to joining Todd Interests, Todd was an Associate at LStar Capital, the credit lending platform of Lone Star Funds/Hudson Advisors, a global private equity and asset management firm that since 1995 has raised 21 separate funds in aggregate of $85 billion of investable capital. For LStar, Todd underwrote and originated commercial mortgage-backed security loans across all asset types.
Prior to joining LStar, Todd worked as an Analyst at Bank of the Ozarks (NASDAQ:OZK), where he originated real estate lending transactions in aggregate of $1.2 billion across all property types.
Todd is a 2015 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he majored in American Politics and Government at the College of Arts & Sciences, completed the Real Estate Track at the McIntire School of Commerce, and minored in Urban and Environmental Planning at the School of Architecture. Todd was also a member of the Cavaliers varsity track and field team, competing in the mile and the 800 meters for three seasons. Todd is an active member of The Real Estate Council and a member of the Associate Leadership Council Class of 2022.
