David Greenspan

Founder and President, Slate Path Capital

David Greenspan is the Founder and President of Slate Path Capital, a New York-based global investment firm. Prior to Slate Path, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Blue Ridge Capital in New York. David holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from George Mason University and earned his MBA from Columbia University.

Greenspan is a board member of Columbia Business School and a member of the executive advisory board of the school's Heilbrunn Center for Value Investing. As an Adjunct Professor, he taught a course in advanced investment research for several semesters, focusing on practical applications of research intensive fundamental investing.

Greenspan is a former member of the board of directors of the Success Academy Charter Schools, a former founding board member of the Josh Waitzkin (JW) Foundation, and a co-founder of 1455, a nonprofit seeking to advance the creative arts. He has a keen, long held interest in mindfulness-based practices, including meditation and yoga.
