Lindsay Larsen

Managing Director, UVIMCO

Lindsay Larsen is a Managing Director at UVIMCO, which oversees approximately $15 billion for the University of Virginia and its affiliates. Larsen leads UVIMCO’s Venture Capital portfolio and co-heads the Growth Equity portfolio. During her tenure, she has also held additional leadership roles, including co-management of the Long/Short Equity Hedge Fund portfolio. She serves as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and is actively involved in all facets of the investment process, portfolio risk management, and senior leadership of the organization. Larsen joined UVIMCO in March 2015. 

Before joining UVIMCO, Larsen was a Director at Sequoia Heritage in Menlo Park, CA. Sequoia Heritage is an investment arm of Sequoia Capital, structured as a long-term, multi-asset investment fund designed to preserve and grow capital for Sequoia partners and affiliated investors. She previously served as a founding team member and Director at Bluestem Asset Management beginning in 2003. Bluestem was a fund of hedge funds that invested globally with a highly select group of hedge funds and in private co-investments. Larsen began her career as a Financial Analyst in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs in New York. 

She holds a B.S. in Commerce, with concentrations in Finance and Management, from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce (Class of 2001) and is a CFA charterholder.
