Soccer Analyst and Commentator

Lori Lindsey is a Match Analyst for MLS on Apple TV and one of the most respected voices in soccer broadcasting. She also serves as a Lead Analyst for the NWSL on Prime Video and CBS Sports and contributes to major broadcasts across ESPN, FOX Sports, and NBC. Lindsey has covered some of the sport’s biggest events, including the 2022 UEFA Women’s European Championship and the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games for NBC, as well as FOX’s coverage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and UEFA Women’s EURO 2025. Most recently, she was the only female analyst on FOX’s coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Before entering broadcasting, Lindsey enjoyed a 14-year professional playing career and is one of only four players to compete in all three U.S. women’s professional soccer leagues. A central midfielder, she earned 31 caps for the U.S. Women’s National Team, representing the U.S. at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup and helping win gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. 

A two-time All-American at the University of Virginia, Lindsey was also a two-time ACC Player of the Year, joining Mia Hamm as the only players to win the award in consecutive seasons.
