Walk-In Advising

Walk-In Advising for UVA Students Interested in Commerce

Current UVA students interested in McIntire's B.S. in Commerce Program can have a one-on-one conversation about the prerequisites and their own schedule, the admissions process, and the Commerce curriculum during walk-in advising, conducted by McIntire Ambassadors. Ambassadors are third- and fourth-year Commerce students trained to answer questions about McIntire prerequisites and curricular information, but more than that, they are ready to share their perspectives about the McIntire classroom experience, curriculum, resources, and community. An integral part of the McIntire Undergraduate Admissions team, Ambassadors look forward to meeting you to answer questions about your own path to McIntire.

Looking for general information on the School and the admissions process? Current UVA students are welcome to attend our McIntire Ambassador-led tours, which take place Mondays and Fridays at 1 p.m. when classes are in session. Registration is required. Please note that tours have been canceled until UVA students are permitted to return to classes in person.

Students enrolled at other colleges and universities who wish to apply for transfer admission to the McIntire School may contact the McIntire Office of Undergraduate Admission at 434-924-3865 or CommerceAdmissions@virginia.edu to schedule an appointment for admissions advising.
