Admissions Process for High School Students

McIntire is an upper-divisional school, which means students complete two years of undergraduate coursework before applying to McIntire. Direct entry or preferred admission for incoming first-year students is not offered.

Prospective UVA first year students interested in McIntire should apply for admission to the College of Arts & Sciences through the Office of Undergraduate Admission. After your first two years in the College of Arts & Sciences, you'll follow the process for UVA students to apply to McIntire.
