Hi! My name is Anya Bhargava and I am a third-year student at McIntire, currently undecided on my concentration(s), but am leaning towards IT and Marketing with a track in Business Analytics. I'm from Richmond, VA, so only an hour from Charlottesville. At UVA, I’m a part of CASH through Madison House, dance with UDC, and am on the SWS marketing team, among other things. Outside of school, I love traveling, reading, and hanging out with friends and family!
My favorite part about McIntire has been getting to know everyone in my ICE block, including the incredible professors! The kindness and care from each of my professors have been wonderful, especially their genuine interest in getting to know me as a person and helping me succeed here and beyond. It’s been so nice to be with the same 50 people every day and getting to know them beyond academics.
As an ambassador, I hope I can convey why I think McIntire is so wonderful, and am excited to meet many of y’all!
Fun fact: I convinced my parents to go paragliding with me in Switzerland when I was nine!
