The inaugural Faculty Research Symposium took place at the McIntire School of Commerce on Friday, April 19, 2024. Designed to provide an opportunity for McIntire faculty to share their research agendas and promote internal communication and collaboration, the event featured 10 research statements and subsequent discussions, as well as a luncheon keynote by Brian Nosek, Co-founder and Executive Director, Center for Open Science, on "Improving the research culture to reward quality and rigor of research."
The fall 2024 symposium took place on Nov. 1, 2024, and featured six additional McIntire faculty sharing their research agendas with the School-wide audience. This program now takes place every semester to showcase the insights and findings of early- and mid-career researchers across the Commerce School.
