What stood out to you about the M.S. in Global Commerce Program?
The real question should be what didn’t appeal to me. I remember finding the website for the Program and feeling as if my passions had been lit on fire. For me, the #1 appeal was the value that comes from putting so many diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences from so many different countries in one room together, and being given the ability to ask questions and problem solve with one another.
What are you looking forward to the most in the Program?
I look forward to the nights when my roommates and I cook a dish from one of our home countries and explain why that food is important to us and our families. I look forward to the time when one of my strengths can help someone else out in a unique way. I look forward to being unprepared or weak at something and having someone else help me. That’s what this program does: It challenges you in the very best way because in every place and/or situation there will be a new set of pros and cons, and as a group we get to help one another thrive.
