McIntire students can choose up to two of six tracks — an area of specialty that spans across several disciplines — to ready them for their ultimate destination: the workplace. These optional tracks allow students the opportunity to further specialize in an area that augments the School's Integrated Core Curriculum (ICE) and concentration coursework.
Generally, students may select a track during the spring semester of the third year or start of the fourth year. (Commerce students may complete up to two tracks if course scheduling allows this flexibility.) Although each track is composed of 12 credit hours, each (Advertising and Digital Media Track, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Global Commerce, Quantitative Finance, and Real Estate) comes with its own distinct and relevant coursework and the sort of real-world exposure that prepares McIntire students for the complex, multidisciplinary issues businesses face today.
