Advising

At the University of Virginia, teaching faculty serve as faculty mentors to undergraduate and graduate students. All McIntire faculty members are involved in advising students through  informal interactions, and they take an active role in supporting students. Faculty members serve as a resource for career information and counseling, as well as for exploring educational options such as course selection and degree programs.

The Student Services and Academic Operations Office is the place to find answers to questions regarding course enrollment, degree requirements, or other concerns. Finally, the Commerce Career Services Office provides excellent advice for students regarding career planning and the job search process.
