Hey, y'all! My name is Ben Anderson, and I am current third-year student at McIntire planning to concentrate in Marketing with a track in Business Analytics. I graduated high school in Springfield, VA, but also spent much of my childhood in Memphis, TN.
Outside of the classroom, I also am a resident adviser here at UVA and write in the sports section of The Cavalier Daily, the University's student newspaper. You can always catch me for any hot takes on any sport here at Virginia, as I've been lucky to cover almost all of them through my involvement with the paper.
When I'm not involved in extracurricular activities, I enjoy, reading, watching, and playing sports; trying new foods in the Charlottesville area; and procrastinating on my schoolwork.
Although I'm only in my first semester here at McIntire, I've loved my experience so far. My ICE Block and group has made the classroom feel like a community, and the professors have been incredible. In addition, the School provides its students with all the networking opportunities you could imagine, so I always feel like I will be prepared once I graduate. I hope I can provide an in-depth look at why I think McIntire is so fantastic through my involvement as an ambassador, and I hope to see you on Grounds!
