About me:
Hi! I'm Emilie Bidgoli, and I'm a fourth-year at McIntire concentrating in Finance, with Quantitative Finance and Real Estate tracks. I'm highly interested in the intersection of ESG and business. I'm originally from Northern Virginia (Fairfax), but I've been lucky enough to live in both Miami and Sweden growing up because of my huge family.
I've loved my time at UVA and originally chose to apply because I knew I wanted a well-rounded atmosphere. In my free time, I love to work out by taking spin or hot yoga classes, as well as try out new coffee shops in Cville (huge coffee enthusiast)!
During my time here, I've been involved with Frank Batten Investment Fund, a student-run ESG fund, served as a Peer Financial Counselor, and been a member of Student Council. I'm also a member of both Smart Woman Securities and Scholars of Finance.
I love meeting new people whenever I can and definitely enjoy my time both in the Persian Cultural Society and my sorority, Alpha Phi. I've highly enjoyed being able to meet and work with such a variety of people here through my other involvements, as well as McIntire's collaborative learning structure.
My favorite thing about McIntire is the new experiences you have every time you walk into the building, whether it's a new topic in ICE, a networking event, or working on projects for my extracurriculars.
Fun fact: I'm a dual citizen, with both U.S. and Swedish passports!
