About me:

Hello there! My name is Jewel Elliott, and I am a third-year Commerce student. I plan on entering law school after undergrad. I hail from just down the road, in Richmond, VA. In my free time I like to take in the Charlottesville sights, listen to music, watch films, and skate. Here at UVA, I dedicate a lot of my time engaging in student organizations. My heavy involvements on Grounds are a being member of the Cavalier Marching Band and part of UVA Honor. Some of my other involvements on Grounds include being a Meriwether Lewis (MLI) Fellow and a former participant, soon-to-be mentor, of the Commerce Cohort. As my schedule allows for it, I attempt to attend affinity groups such as the Undergraduate Black Law Student Association (UBLSA), the Black Commerce Student Network (BCSN), and the Black Student Association (BSA) as much as possible. My favorite thing about the McIntire experience is the case-based and discussion-style of learning. It keeps the classroom very vibrant and stimulating. Thank you for reading all about me, Jewel Elliott! Feel free to locate and reach out to me if you want to talk about anything!

Fun fact:

My younger brother and I go to rival schools! (Hint: Its colors are burgundy and orange.)
