About me:
Hi! My name is Maggie Seabrook, and I’m a fourth-year student at McIntire with a Marketing concentration, tracks in Business Analytics and Strategic Brand Consulting & Communications, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I’m originally from southern New Jersey, but knowing that I wanted to study business, I knew UVA was the place for me. Outside of school, I enjoy thrifting, cooking, and listening to indie music. At UVA, I’m a McIntire Mentor, and plan social events and advise third-year McIntire students. As part of my Strategic Brand Consulting Track, the School’s team and I will compete in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) this spring with an advertising campaign we design for the corporate sponsor.
McIntire is an amazing community and a great place to learn and grow. One of my favorite parts of the McIntire Experience is the large network you have from the moment you step foot on grounds. McIntire students, professors, staff, and alumni are always willing and ready to connect with you and discuss your future. Since coming to UVA, I have attended many McIntire events which allowed me to meet and network with students and professors. This made the transition to McIntire much more exciting and less stressful. McIntire is full of talented and dedicated individuals and I am extremely grateful to be a part of this community.
Fun fact: I once met Jerry from Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream!
