About Us

The Center for the Management of Information Technology (CMIT) was founded in 1991 to give faculty and IT practitioners a place to work on the same problems. The Center funds faculty research, contributes to McIntire's IT curriculum, and runs programs that bring executives, alumni, and students together to examine emerging challenges and opportunities.
