B.S. in Civil Engineering 2019, Virginia Tech
Hometown: Commack, NY
What stood out to you in selecting to attend the M.S. in Commerce Program?
The M.S. in Commerce Program appealed to me because it allows for me to take the engineering/logic skills I have learned from my undergrad and pair that with a business mindset. In addition, McIntire is highly reputable and known for fostering professional relationships.
What are you looking forward to most in the Program?
I am looking forward to the Global Immersion Experience the most. I love to travel and I am excited to learn more on how businesses interact on a global stage.
What clubs and organizations were you involved with during your time in undergrad?
Alpha Sigma Phi, Alliance of Transportation Engineering Students, American Society of Civil Engineers, Chi Epsilon Honor Society
What is your “walk out” or hype song?
“High Hopes” by Panic! At the Disco
Name three places on your bucket list to travel to.
1. Australia: I have always been interested in the wildlife (kangaroos are my favorite animal) and the culture. I love exploring, and Australia has so much geographic diversity between the rainforest in Queensland and the beautiful beaches down the coasts.
2. Greece: I would love to visit where some of my ancestors are from. Also, my sister loved going, so I'm sure it will be super fun. Of course, the food is great too!
3. California: I have never been out West and would love to experience the West Coast laid-back culture and how it differentiates from the fast-paced culture of the Northeast, where I’m from.
